The CH Series is the standard anchoring for single layer refractory linings. It can also be used for two-layer wall construction with gunned insulation. The anchoring systems in the CH Series have been developed for mounting by means of manual welding and therefore have a bar on the base of the anchor as standard.
The anchors in the CH Series are manufactured in three different basic versions:
CH1 Anchors without corrugation are used for simple tasks such as for thin linings or tub positions.
CH2 Corrugated anchors for average to difficult anchoring applications; the depth of the corrugation basically corresponds to the single diameter of the wire to achieve a good transmission of the retention forces to the refractory concrete.
CH3 This version of the anchor has a defined double corrugation. This gives the anchor a "space retaining ability" which leads to a yet better transmission of retention forces to the refractory material. The CH3 version is especially suitable for anchoring single layered lightweight refractory concretes.
Unlike anchors in the CV Series that can only be supplied with a diameter up to 8 mm due to the constraints of the stud welding procedure, the anchoring systems in the CH Series are also available in larger diameters.
