BCV / SCV

The BCV/ SCV series is an anchoring system where the anchor is welded onto a threaded sleeve or a screw/threaded bolt. Anchor elements with 6mm and 8mm diameter are available as standard. The threaded sleeves as well as the screws/threaded bolts can be supplied in thread diameters M8, M10 and M12.

This type of anchoring system is frequently used in pressure-retaining, lined refractory plant which is annealed after all welding work has been completed. Here the required threaded bolts, or threaded sleeves if DRT threaded bolts are used, are already installed on the metal plate of the plant component and the BCV / SCV anchor systems will be screwed on during the progress of the refractory installation.

The use of the BCV / SCV system is also frequently practical in the case of standard refractory linings, particularly when there are spatial constraints in the plant so that welded anchors would be an obstruction. The BCV / SCV anchoring system is a good alternative for multilayered wall constructions with block insulation.
