Description

Anchoring in the SB Series are similar to those in the CB Series, but have been developed for thinner, heavy refractory concrete linings.  These are securely anchored with the SB Series due to pronounced corrugation.  The retention forces are excellently transferred to the refractory concrete by the distinctive wave design with a standard angle of spread of 60°.

The anchors in the SB Series are manufactured in the diameters 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm.

In the diameters 6 mm and 8 mm the anchors in the SB Series are also available for fixing using the stud welding process. The designation here is SBS.  These have a base designed accordingly; the anchor is supplied aluminised and with a ceramic Ferule as standard.

The anchors with larger diameters, but also the anchors with 6 and 8 mm diameters, have been developed for installing with manual welding.  For this purpose the anchor has a bar on the base which permits secure mounting. This type of anchor is called SBH.
