The MAS series was developed to reduce stresses which arise from the relative movement of the vessel shell and the refractory lining. Space is allowed for this movement by a system component which burns out. With its various types of threaded pin, this system has been designed for single or multiple layer wall claddings and for stud or manual welding processes. Before the refractory concrete is applied, the TWM anchor is screwed onto the threaded pin with the fastening set.
